Rivers Worst Game of the Year
Philip Rivers had his worst game of the year last night vs. the Kansas City Chiefs. While the Chargers still won the game 20-9, it was hardly due to Rivers. Tomlinson was the main man once again rushing for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Rivers ended the game with his worst QB rating this season. A rating of only 12.4 last night lowered his overall season QB rating to 78.5. He ended the game with 8 completions on 23 attempts for only 97 yards. He also threw for 2 interceptions.
Rivers just wasn’t on his game last night. He showed frustration on the sideline by throwing his helmet. He was getting a lot of pressure during the game including two sacks. You have to wonder if Marty is to blame for some of this. He plays so conservative and only likes to pass when he has to. The quarterback never has time to get in a rythm with this kind of play.
The Chargers are now 12-2 on the season and have won 8 games in a row.
