The Chargers are not ruling out the possibility that Philip Rivers might need surgery to repair his ’sprained’ right foot. Unforuntately, they also said there won’t be an update on his status until sometime in mid-February.

Rivers Will Not Play in Pro Bowl
The AP is reporting that Chargers QB will not play int the Pro Bowl because of his injured foot. Rivers is still nursing the injury he suffered against the Cardinals on December 31st. Team Spokesman Johnston said the team decided it would be best if he rests his foot.
