Rivers Solid Against the Cardinals

Philip Rivers posted a solid game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. He threw for 231 yards, 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. Nothing to be ashamed of there. Those 230 yard 2 touchdown games are the reason he’s on the AFC Pro Bowl Team and the Chargers have a first round playoff bye.

Rivers did sprain his right foot in the game and was moved to the sideline. This was just a precautionary move though. Had it been a playoff game, or a game of importance, you can gaurantee he would be under the helm the entire game.

“We accomplished a lot today,” Rivers said. “Most importantly, everything’s going to come through San Diego. It was a good day for the Chargers.” That is important. Sunny California is a great place for football.

Stay tuned for playoff previews.
