Rivers Will Not Play in Pro Bowl
The AP is reporting that Chargers QB will not play int the Pro Bowl because of his injured foot. Rivers is still nursing the injury he suffered against the Cardinals on December 31st. Team Spokesman Johnston said the team decided it would be best if he rests his foot.
Now, this does not mean Rivers won’t still make the trip to Hawaii, it just means that he won’t play. Whoever is the alternate, either Vince Young or Tom Brady (I can’t remember), will take his place on the playing field.
