No More Marty Ball
How will Marty Schottenheimer’s firing affect Philip Rivers? Well, that all depends on who they bring in to replace him. Marty was a great offensive mind. His teams always had high opwered offenses, whether he was in Kansas City or San Diego. He made Trent Green look like a star.
I think losing Marty will hurt Philip Rivers in a way. Marty is a great coach with boatloads of experience. Unless they bring in another offensive mind, like Norv Turner, who interviewed yesterday for the job, I don’t see Rivers throwing the ball for much more than he did this past season.
