Rivers in Camp
The Chargers are now in full pads for training camp. Rivers is looking healthy and ready to contribute to the team. He has two new rookie WRs this year, Craig Davis and Legedu Naanee. Davis seems to be hauling everything in. He’s making Rivers job very easy.
Not only are there new players on the team, but new coaches as well. We all know by now that Norv Turner is the new coach of the Chargers. Rivers had this to say about him: “He’s the perfect coach for this team. We don’t need someone on us every minute telling us what to do, where to be, we’ve got veteran leadership and guys who know how to handle their business.”
Its nice to know that the players like and respect Turner. I predict good things for the Chargers this year. They’re off to a great start already and should be one of the favorites to win the AFC this year.
