Chargers vs. Packers Preview
The San Diego Chargers are traveling to Green Bay this Sunday to face the 2-0 Packers. Back to back road games are never easy on anyone, especially when you travel from Boston, back to San Diego, then back east to Green Bay. However, if anyone can unthrone the ‘ridin high’ Cheeseheads it’s the Chargers. The Chargers are due for a break out performance. If they can get Tomlinson going, that will open the passing game for Rivers.
I feel like every week I’m posting about how Rivers is pissed and how he’s going to light it up. But truthfully, he just doesn’t have the receivers to be an elite passer. Gates can’t carry this team on his back. With that said, Rivers can still be an efficient winner…which is much more important than putting up big stats.
Until Rivers shows me more, I’m going to predict a mediocre game from him. 220 yards 1 touchdown and 1 interception seems about right.
