Chargers are on a roll!
The Chargers completely destroyed the Houston Texans yesterday. There is really no other word for it but ‘destroy’. Rivers connected big time with tight end Antonio Gates for two touchdowns in the first half. Both connections were for 40 yards. Rivers also hit his new receiver Chris Chambers for a touchdown.
Rivers ended the game with only 7 completions and 11 attempts for 130 yards. But that’s OK. The Chargers didn’t need to pass the ball at all. They were up 35-3 at halftime, and really set the team to cruise control after that.
It was great to see the Chargers come out ‘blazing’ after all the wild fire issues down in San Diego this past week. The Chargers are now 4-3 and pretty much in the driver’s seat in the AFC West.
