Chargers vs. Broncos Preview
San Diego may riot if the Chargers don’t beat the division rival Denver Broncos. The Chargers are the most talented team in the NFL, yet they are staring 1-4 right in the face as they travel to Mile High.
Philip Rivers has got to play like the Philip Rivers of last year. Sure the Chargers don’t have a deep threat, but they still have the best RB and best TE in football. They need to move the ball on Denver. If Jacksonville could put up a couple hundred yards of offense on the Broncos, then surely the Chargers can.
Rivers needs to stop trying to force throws and start managing the game better. The Broncos have the best to CBs in the NFL, so it will be a tough matchup for him. However, Rivers should still be able to move the ball and spread it around some some decent gains.
I look for Rivers to manage his way to 200 yards passing 1 td and 1 int.
