Rivers Disappoints in Chargers Loss

The Chargers are now 1-3, and I’m beginning to wonder why they fired 14-2 Schotty?

“It’s somewhat disappointing,” he said of the Qualcomm Stadium crowd’s response (booing) during the Chargers’ 30-16 loss to Kansas City. “We understand to an extent their frustration. We’re frustrated way more than anyone outside of the locker room; I can guarantee that. We certainly don’t want to make bad plays.”

Rivers made several bad plays yesterday, including 2 interceptions. “That happens sometimes,” Rivers said. “We had potentially a huge play to Buster. That’s one of those deals where you get your arm caught right when you let it go and you hope the ball finds the ground. It didn’t there.”

The Chargers need to get their act together. A bye week would have been perfect right about now, however they’ll have to wait a few more weeks for that.
