San Diego is Alive!
Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers actually looked like San Diego and Philip Rivers yesterday in a 41-3 beatdown in Denver. What a game.
Rivers threw for 270 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran in for another touchdown. It’s the game we’ve been waiting for. The only knock on Rivers performance was that he only threw to 3 different receivers. Not ideally spreading the ball around. But if it works, then it works. Gates was the leading receiver once again with 7 receptions for 113 yards.
The Chargers really needed this win. Falling to 1-4 would have been devastating. Now the Chargers are 2-3 and only 1/2 a game out of first place in their division.
