Indy is Coming to Town

The Indianapolis Colts are headed to San Diego for Sunday Night Football. Philip Rivers and the Chargers will battle against Peyton Manning and the Colts in one of the best games of the week. San Diego is disgusted with last weeks performance and will be looking to shut down Joseph Addai and the Colts running game.

Rivers also couldn’t get it done last week and will hope to rebound on Sunday night. The Chargers player their best football when Rivers makes things happen int he air. It really opens up the ground game for LT.

“We’re optimistic,” quarterback Philip Rivers said. “We made some mistakes last week, but there’s nothing that can’t be corrected. There’s not an epidemic of problems that we have. It’s a matter of making the plays we all know we can make and making them consistently. When we do that, we’ve shown how we can perform in the three (games) prior to last week.

“Ultimately your measuring stick is your record. We’re 4-4 right now, and that’s who we are. Obviously, we feel that with the players we have and the expectations we have, we’re better than that. … But nobody looks back at how things went once you get to the playoffs. If we get that record back to 0-0 (going into the post-season), we’ll look back at Minnesota and Green Bay and Kansas City as trials that helped us, gained us valuable experience.”
