Rivers Good in Chargers Blowout
Philip Rivers looked like a quarterback yesterday in the San Diego Chargers 51-14 blowout over the Detroit Lions. It’s been awhile since Rivers had a good game. He ended yesterday 14-21 for 142 yards and a touchdown. The Chargers got up big early and practically ran the ball ever play in the second half.
“Yes, it was good to come out clean and not have to do much,” said Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. “The guys were great up front. We got the run game started right away and kept the pedal down for four quarters.
“We obviously didn’t expect this wide a margin, but we really felt if we jumped on them early we could be in complete control, and that’s what happened.”
The Chargers are starting to look like a playoff team. They’re getting hot at the right time. While other teams are fighting for playoff spots, the Chargers can relax at the top of the AFC West.
Even the coach had good things to say. “Philip was outstanding,” Norv Turner said. “He did a great job of getting himself ready to play. He was in the training room at 5:30 in the morning every day, getting treatment, his rehab, exercises, everything he could do to make sure he got himself ready. It was important for him to play in this game.”
There are a number of golf clubs, located in the different parts of the world for the golf players. There is need of having firm golf grip if you join golf clubs. The golf bags of different styles, shades and stuff are available by the different brands.

Way to go first poster! Many people feel the same way and just don’t have the balls to say it. Kudoz on telling the truth even though you will be bashed because this is his “fan site” or in my case “former fan site.”

Posters 2, 3 and 6 are probably the same person and Philips only remaining fan. I too am no longer a fan of our pathetic quarterback. I never really was a fan I guess but he is the hometown QB, regardless of how unfortunate that is, so I’ve always rooted for him. I am hoping we get to play the Pats again so they can put another whoopin’ on us and hopefully end Rivers career. This guy is a jerk!

You non Philip fans and naysayers will eat your words. Philip is a winner. He is young to the NFL where Eli and Rothensberger have 4 years starting; Philip one. He does need to settle down and behave passionate but controled. Only loud mouths usually like loud mouths. I also would like to take him shopping and see him wearing some NC State gear instead the TT gear. I went Tech and my dad/sister to NC State so I’m a bit baffled by the lack of Wolfpack attire. I have loved Philip since he signed with NC State so am obviously biased. He is also a fine young man — Mass on Sunday before a game? Just like another great, Roger Staubach. Another favorite.

Philip Rivers will not be in the NFL in a matter of 3 years. After such a good season even though our QB is a piece of white trash SD will be smart and get a better QB. I will bet anyone $1000 that Rivers is CFL in 3 years or less. E-mail me to take me up on that bet. I will escrow the money with the simple condition that if at the beginning of the 2010-11 season he is still in the NFL, regardless of team or starting position, the money is yours. You have to do the same so serious inquiries only pease.
