Rivers and Chargers Win A Playoff Game!
The San Diego Chargers have finally won a playoff game! It’s been over dacade since they had won a playoff game. The final score was 17-6. After starting off slow, the Chargers rallied for two touchdowns in the second half. Rivers was 19-of-30 for 292 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. Chris Chambers had six catches for 121 yards, and Jackson had five for 114. Tomlinson scored the other.
The Chargers will now travel to Indianapolis to face the Colts on Sunday at 1:00 EST. The Chargers already beat the Colts earlier this year, so will have the confidence needed to beat them again. On a side note though, Rivers favorite target, Antonio Gates, suffered a foot injury (possible a toe) in the second quarter and had to be carted off the field. He looked pissed when it happened. No word yet on how long he’ll be out.
So the Chargers and Rivers finally got the monkey off their back. The win over Tennessee is a big confidence builder. This team now feels like they can go deep into the playoffs.

LT cant say a thing bad about him cept he aint been right since the Patriots beat the Chargers last year.. I reccomend he do more commercials and keep his mouth shut.

Rivers is not the man for the job. Sorry, I am sure he is good guy off the field ( I think I read he has six kids!) He should lead by example. Like the first poster said ” I never see him looking over pictures on the sideline” I agree. You will never get better. I dont see him lasting anymore than 2 more years at best. He may latch on to another team as a backup Q/B. He may even Rally that team to a remarkable victory. I don’t see him being anything other than a journeyman QB after his stint with the chargers.
