Rivers Ahead of Schedule

Per Rotoworld: “Chargers QB Philip Rivers (ACL surgery) remains well ahead of schedule in rehabbing his right knee. He’s been able to run at full speed for a month now and was taking first-team snaps in light practice sessions. Everything is coming up roses with Rivers’ recovery, but keep in mind that recent ACL history among quarterbacks suggests Rivers will go through significant struggles once the bell rings.”

Great news for Philip Rivers and the Chargers. He’s feeling well and ahead of schedule. Philip has been very pleased with the way everything’s been going and how he’s played this off-season.

“I think throwing the ball I’ve been as accurate as I’ve been during an offseason,” Rivers said. “If I can just keep working, the key thing is just make sure I’m completely comfortable in the pocket and not worrying about something happening. I really didn’t think about it today. When you’ve got people flying around you, you don’t have time to think about it. You just react and play. I felt like I stayed within myself.”
