Philip Rivers Final Preseason Game Tonight
Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers play their final preseason game tonight against San Francisco. I think we’ll see Rivers for a series or two. I know the coaches want to get Vincent Jackson a lot of work, so it’s best if it’s Rivers throwing him the ball. They need to work on their timing.
Other than that, there’s really not much to expect. Rivers knee is strong and despite tonight’s performance, he’ll be ready and healthy for game 1 of the regular season.
On a side note though, I’m disappointed to see that Shawne Merriman has elected not to have surgery on his knee. I hope to God he doesn’t aggravate it. Doctors are saying it could be career ending.
