Division Rival Raiders Stand No Chance

The San Diego Chargers are traveling up the coast this Sunday to play their division rivals, the Oakland Raiders. Philip Rivers and the Chargers are coming off a big win over the New York Jets last week and will look to improve their record to 2-2. I like the Chargers chances this week to destroy the Raiders. Did you know Philip has a 10-3 career record against the AFC West?

Rivers is putting up monster stats so far this season. Only Jay Cutler is rivaling what Rivers is doing from the QB position. But that’s not that he’s all about… “I’m not a stat guy; I don’t get caught up in that stuff,” Rivers said. “My purpose and our team’s purpose to go win, and all of that stuff takes care of itself.”

Rivers best WR, Chris Chambers, only had 1 reception last week. Look for him to get more involved in the offensive plan, especially with LT banged up. The Chargers will continue to rely on the pass… afterall, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Chargers win 28-13.
