Rivers and the Chargers Fall in London
Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints got the best of Philip Rivers and the San Diego Chargers last Sunday in London. “The whole experience was a lot of fun, except the outcome of the game,” Rivers said. “It’s a tough one to swallow, and 3-5 with a 13-hour flight ahead of us doesn’t make it any better.”
If you come to this site just for fantasy input, then you’re probably in love with Rivers. Statistically, Rivers played an amazing game. He was 25-40 for 341 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. He’s been on a tear all season, and despite the team’s losing record, should still head to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl.
They haven’t been relying on Tomlinson as much as they have in the past and Rivers has done an excellent job this year of spreading the ball around. I just hope the Chargers can turn things around before it’s too late. Which may be this weekend…
