Rivers will keep flowing in San Diego for long term
In the final year of his current contract, Philip Rivers is willing to play in the next season for San Diego. Last year his record shows that he threw for 4,009 yards and also a team-record 34 touchdowns.

Several other important players of San Diego are also at the end of contracts in next two years. LaDainian Tomlinson is one of them.
The chargers have no intention to wait further. Chargers A.J. Smith, general manager of the team told to the San Diego Union – Tribune that the team will negotiate with Rivers very soon for a long-term contract.
The new season is about to begin. Smith also said, “…we have to look at which contracts are coming up. Right at the front of that is our quarterback… We will try to see if he would like to be here in the future.” Rivers flow in the team will be a costly proposition but he led the NFL in quarterback rating. Since the creation of the forward pass, the NFL always been a quarterback’s league. Quarterback now correlates the quality of the team.
In the Pro Bowl Rivers have dropped out due to injury.
