Rivers says faith and family first, then football
Philip Rivers is well recognized to the Triangle residents for his successes on the football field. On Saturday, the former N.C. State University star headlined an event about faith.
At the 7th annual that was Ignited by Truth Catholic Conference, Philip Rivers said to the crowd of more than two thousand that he believes in faith and family first, and then football. He emphasized that it was in that order.
Now Philip Rivers is playing for the San Diego as the starting quarterback. He started 51 games in his years at N.C. State. This is an all time NCAA record. Rivers also shattered several other school and conference records while he was there.
