QB Philip Rivers shares unique experience to all his fans of the episode when he was drafted by the Giants and quickly traded to the Chargers in 2004.

To the media he said that his draft experience was pretty unusual for many reasons. He earlier never heard from the team mates that actually drafted him and he had to wait about an hour after he was picked to find out where he was actually going to play.

He also said that the top part of the draft was so up in the air that year. It was very much clear Eli Manning was going to go first, but no one know to who. Rivers also mentioned that he really didn’t know where he might land. He said he thought San Diego was a possibility, but with the trade scenarios and all that, he just didn’t know how it was all going to work out.

Philip Rivers had such a great and unique experience at the Senior Bowl with the Chargers and also with the staff. It was like he had already played for the Chargers for five days.
