Rivers extends contract for 6 years with Chargers
Philip Rivers will be with Chargers for more six years. He has signed a 6-year contract extension with the San Diego Chargers after leading it to the National Football League playoffs in the previous 3 seasons.

The deal of Philip Rivers will be till 2015. This has been confirmed through the official website of the Chargers. The website does not say anything about the financial terms of the deal.
According to the website of ESPN the agreement is worth $92 million, with about $38 million to $39 million guaranteed.
Philip Rivers said to the media, “The one thing I’ve said throughout the summer was that my contract was never going to become a distraction for this team.” He also added that he is obviously grateful that it has got done and that he is going to be a Charger for the years to come.
