San Diego Chargers Schedule

Rivers is set to become a very rich man

Good News… Philip Rivers has become an elite NFL QB.

Let us take a quick look.

TDs/Ints: 34 -11
Completion percentage: 65.3
Overall QB rating: 105.5

And to Rivers’ credit, he helped in bringing back the underachieving Chargers from last season’s dead to get them into playoffs i.e. finishing at 8-8.

Still the question remains. “Can Philip lead this team and be a consistent winner, especially at playoff time?”

Now let us put the question in this way. Two-time Super Bowl winning Quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger already has nineteen comeback victories to his credit. Rivers drafted the same year as Big Ben. He has been credited with only 8 comebacks.

Philip Rivers, as we all know, did not start until his 3rd season. His 8 comeback victories is still lagging behind QB greats John Elway with 47, Brett Favre with 42, Marino and Peyton Manning each had 37.

Yeah! Also look this. Drew Bledsoe’s had 32 comebacks to his credit.
