Rivers fined $7,500 for taunting

rivers

Philip Rivers has been fined a $7,500 by NFL for taunting during his team’s 24-20 win in a match against the Oakland Raiders recently.
ESPN.com reports that the fine of the league was due to Philip Rivers saying something to Gerard Warren, the Raiders defensive tackle, in the third quarter of the game.

He at that time as unsportsmanlike conduct was penalized 15 yards and he has been also hit in his wallet with the monetary fine of $7,500.

Philip Rivers played superb down the stretch and his team, the Chargers, avoided an upset with an 89-yard drive spearheaded by the signal-caller.

He finished 24-of-36 for 252 yards.

Philip Rivers was sacked thrice by the Raiders. It is a number that the Chargers would have certainly liked to improve on.

That decision to fine by the NFL is retarded. Let the players be fiery! If anything, they should have fined the idiot Raiturd for continuing after the whistle, low toward your knees.

Just know you have an unflappable fan right here!!!!!!!
