During the early moments of 2004 NFL draft, for about a minute Philip Rivers was a New York Giant. The Giants selected him 4th overall and he was then traded to the San Diego Chargers along with few other future draft picks, in return for top pick Eli Manning .

Of course these players will be always connected through the trade of 2004 even with the Miami of Ohio’s Ben Roethlisberger. He was passed over in favor of them and he ws then picked eleventh by the Steelers.
