Rivers have confidence in his team
Quarterback Philip Rivers’ December record was to 16-0, completing 21 of 32 passes for 272 yards. The Chargers defeated Dallas by 20-17 and won their eighth consecutive game.

Let us check what Rivers discussed with Clifton Brown from Sporting News in the empty locker room after the match.
Brown asked Rivers about how big was the 7-minute fourth quarter drive which gave him a 10-point lead. To this Rivers said that it was a playoff-type drive and players make it in use all their timeouts and after this kick a field goal. This is what, Rivers mentioned further, players want to do always against good teams on the road.
Brown further went on with his question and asked Rivers that he scored on the drive in which he got his neck injured by DeMarcus Ware, so what did Rivers say to his team after the injury of Ware.
To this Rivers answered that not a single player on the field ever likes seeing any player go down in a serious nature. He also added that one needs to switch off from the caring part to football.
Brown also asked about Rivers’ confidence in his team always as it was seen now. To this Rivers said that it is always easy to say this is the best team. He continued, “But this is as zeroed in and grounded as we’ve ever been on a streak.”
