Rivers plans football camp
Philip Rivers, who plays as quarterback for the San Diego Chargers will hold the inaugural Old Spice Philip Rivers Football Camp on July 10-11 at UCSD. This camp will be conducted as an aid to the Rivers of Hope Foundation.
Rivers will be personally present on site to direct the activities of the camp which will go on from 5pm to 8:30pm and send out instructions. The best prep and collegiate coaches from the San Diego area have been selected to coach the boys and girls aged 7 to 14 who will be participating in the camp.
Seven hours of football instruction is not the only thing the campers will get. All participants will be presented with an autographed camp team photo with Rivers, a camp T-shirt, and the opportunity to win additional contests and prizes. The fee for the camp is $199.
Old Spice and Bridgestone Tires are some of the camp sponsors.
Campers are encouraged to register quickly to catch the limited spots available.
