In recent success, it can be said, the San Diego Chargers have two critical pieces and they are wide receiver Vincent Jackson and offensive lineman Marcus McNeil. Both of them are likely to hold out for a sizable portion of the season. Well, it is not a matter of worry to Philip Rivers.

Rivers said to the media recently, “Those are two key guys on our offense. I don’t think there’s any way you can say we’re not better with them. We want to have them. But at the same time, can you still get it done without them? The answer is ‘Yes.”

In the absence of Jackson, Malcom Floyd and Legedu Naanee may start. Now receiver has 100 career receptions in the NFL and Rivers remains somewhat upbeat about the lack of experience of the two.

He said, “People say we don’t know if these guys can do it. You’re right. We don’t know, but we’ve never asked them to do it.”
